A Greeter will introduce you to the best spots and the unknown treasures of their city thanks to their intimate knowledge and experiences.
Whether you are travelling with your family, as a couple, with friends, alone or on a business trip, make the most of this new concept to discover Wallonia differently.
To meet a greeter, you simply need to fill out the online form 10 prior to your arrival, making sure to include your areas of interest: www.greeters.be.
What is a meeting with a Greeter?

A new way to travel
The Greeters of Belgium network encourages meetings between locals and tourists by putting in place, in several Belgian towns, a network of volunteers who are passionate about their city, hospitable and wish to share their passion with passing tourists.

Greeters present internationally
The welcome networks of Charleroi, Mons, Namur and Thuin have opened there doors internationally by becoming members of the Global Greeter Network.
70 locals from Charleroi, Mons, Namur, Thuin and Dinant are proud to join the international greeters movement. By joining up, the greeters are committing themselves to an effort of sustainable tourism that respects the environment and man. They take part in the cultural and economic enrichment of local communities and contribute to the positive image of the destination. They favour mutual enrichment and cultural exchanges between individuals for a better world.
The international network currently has some 50 members from 20 countries, covering 5 different continents (Africa, America, Asia, Europe and Oceania).
New slogans have arrived in Wallonia: "Welcome to the world!" and "Meet the locals!"
